Hi,
I have a position light ground signal which can exhibit either Red/White or White/White LED's. It has 3 wires, a red, a white and a common black (cathode) lead.
I wired the red to 'A', the white to 'B' and the black to 'k', on power up I get the red/white indication which is correct, when I switch states the red light goes out, the associated white light turns extremely dim and the additional white light does not illuminate at all.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here? I don't really want to go experimenting as i'm worried i'll destroy the signal.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Simon

I'm not normally in the habit of replying to my own posts but, does anyone even look at these boards any more? I desperately want to use the SC1 and buy some more of them as I have a considerable number of signals which I want to operate via DCC - but its difficult to contemplate doing if there is no support available for even the most basic of issues...
Help!?

Hi Simon
It looks like your position light signal has the two white LEDs in series which will require around 7V minimum to drive it. The SC1 only supplies 5V.
