I have had an original SC1 board for some time controlling ground signals/two aspect signals which work fine.
Two years ago I bought 2 of the latest SC1 boards for 2 Three aspect signals both with a Call-on aspect and 1/2 feathers (which was a lot better than using Lenz LS 100s which I had used for many year). Reading the manual I heeded the warnings and used CV 38=3 or 6 with the call-on aspect treated as a feather which worked but never really satisfying.
However a problem had emerged recently with the calling on signal coming on with the yellow aspect. The only thing to do was set it up with CV 38 =19. Works perfectly and leaves a slot for another Two aspect signal on each board.
The command station is the latest Lenz set 101 and TC is Version 9.0 B2
The question is "Does this show that all systems have moved on or am I just lucky" ?
(The layout is "N" and the Three aspect signals were made by Roger Murray.)
Regards,
Peter

Some systems don't leave a packet between sending commands to a device (which they should), and that can cause some commands to be missed. Newer command stations (or command station firmware) and new versions of software should implement this better.
You will usually find that using the extended accessory packets works best because it reduces the amount of data having to be sent, but unfortunately Lenz still does not support this (except with a workaround on older systems).
Excellent that you have it working with CV38=19. This will use fewer packets than CV38=3 or CV38=6 and should make for simpler configuration of Traincontroller.
