Good afternoon
I am looking at purchasing the following CR Signals items...
2@ 3 aspect signals, 1 with LH route indicator, 2 with RH route indicators.
I would also like to purchase 2@ shunt signals, Red - Red/White
Question - will the above work from 2x SC1 controllers? If not would I be able to with two Red / White shunt signals?
I look forward to your reply
Kind regards
PJ

Good afternoon
Question - 2
Will I be able to install and use these with Hornby RailMaster Pro software. At present CR Signals are not included in the list of signal controllers but Hornby are working to add many more 3rd party controllers to the system.
I have spoken with Paul at CR Signals this morning who sent me the following conversation
NOTE: These comments were for RailMaster v1.55, the new, much more advanced software v1.56 which includes RailMaster Pro is only after 4-6 weeks old.
The conversation stated.....
Please see an extract of a conversion I was party to between a customer and the manufacturer of the Signalist SC1 decoder with regard to getting the Signalist SC1 signal decoder working with the e-Link / Railmaster set up:
“I have just had a look at Railmaster. As I mentioned on the telephone there is no need to configure the SC1, it comes from the factory with the correct settings to operate four CR Signals 2-aspect signals.
As far as I can tell all you need to do in Railmaster is to add your signals on to the panel in the track plan designer. They need to be allocated four consecutive addresses by right clicking each signal. Settings should be:-
Controller – A
Decoder port – (one of four consecutive addresses)
Type – Lenz LS100
Startup up position – not important, use whatever you want.
Reverse polarity – unticked
Save your panel and then go to operation mode as if you are running trains.
Once you have done this put the jumper on pins 1 and 2 of the program jumper (near where the letters PGM are printed) on the SC1 and attach the SC1 to the track output of the E-link. Click on the lowest addressed signal in RailMaster so that it changes colour and then click it again. Immediately you have done this remove the jumper from the SC1 and power off the E-Link. Power the E-Link back on and the four signals should then work and change whenever you click them on the RailMaster panel.
While this should work I have heard reports that there are bugs in RailMaster that means that in some circumstances Railmaster cannot be used to operate more than one signal on a decoder because the address on the screen is different to what is sent to the track. If that is the case you will have to wait for a resolution from Hornby – this bug affects all accessory decoders with more than one signal attached.”
NOTE: although RM 1.56 does not yet include CR Signals and the SC1 the version does support the Lenz LS100 controller.

Unfortunately I have not received a reply so have simplified the request and placed an order with CR Signals for
2x 3 aspect signals with feather/route indicators 2x red/red white/white shunt signals 2x SC1 signal controllers
I will set two 3 aspect signals with feathers on 1 controller and the two shunt signals on the other
Hopefully I will not have any problems setting up in RailMaster Pro

Hi PJ
You are spot on with your analysis and should have no problem with configuring your signals as you have described.
If you have specific questions and need a fast response it is usually best to contact Signalist or your signal supplier directly via e-mail as the information you need is likely to be at hand. The forum is better suited for situations when a slower response is Ok, for sharing experiences and when looking at obscure scenarios that may have not been used before.

Good morning Paul
Thank you for your reply. I am expecting my order today but have an hospital appointment later so it may be tonight or tomorrow before I can get it out and have a look and a read.
As I am disabled I have to reply on others to lift the layout for me so that I can wire up etc beneath, for this reason I will test on the surface first by connecting the DCC power from the rails or DCC Bus this way it should simplify what is done beneath the layout.
Kind regards
PJ
