Hi Paul
I believe you have recently spoken to John at DCC Concepts about linking your SC1 to one of their ABC modules. What I want to do is set up and intermediate ABC shuttle module in front of a Dapol semaphore, which is operated by your SC1/DP8 boards. The intention is to trigger the module to stop a train if the signal is against it. I have a DCC Concepts Cobalt Rex switch board which apparently is the safest way to link up but I am not sure whether the Rex can be connected directly to the SC1/DP8 or not. John has suggested using a DCC accessory decoder instead in the circuit and just using the same address as the Dapol signal. I have a spare NCE switch-it decoder (which is designed for tortoise stall motors) but am not sure whether that would be suitable. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I can not see any way to link an ABC module to the SC1+DP8, and I think that using a seperate accessory decoder to control the ABC module will be best. Lenz make suitable integrated braking modules that can be controlled via DCC which might be an option.
